This luxurious hotel has airy rooms and competent staff. The atmosphere of the property is special. The place has great and beautiful location to leave the area as everything is within walking range. It's also very close to the airport and highways and the beautiful, well maintained gardens.

The restaurant offered tasty food at a reasonable price with wonderful friendly service. I tried excellent dishes. - It had a lovely view of the mountains and lush fairways of the Oteniqua and Montagu golf courses. - the restaurant was good and large.

The decor at Fancourt Hotel was simply charming. From the elegant furnishings to the beautiful artwork, every space had a unique touch that made me feel right at home. As a senior woman, I was delighted to find the hotel's general areas were very accessible, with wide and well-lit hallways and easily navigable spaces. It was a pleasure to relax and socialize in such a tastefully decorated environment.
I would have appreciated a bit more assistance from the staff, especially considering the needs of senior guests. While most of the staff were friendly, there were a few instances where the children working there seemed a bit inexperienced or overwhelmed.
